As the new coronavirus, known as Severe Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), spreads around the world, it is having a major impact on the way we live our lives. In the United States and elsewhere, authorities are directing people to work at home, stores and restaurants are closing their doors or limiting their operations, and many schools are closed. Driven by worry, people are stockpiling staples like toilet paper, bleach, bread and milk.
